Summer

Whoop! It’s already April 3, 2006. Now the summer is coming; however, this summer comes a little bit of late in Canada. Never mind, Leap students will have a ceremony on April 7 which is Friday. After that, all will have a month long holiday. Nevertheless, we all have to do the essay, presentation and test this week firstly.

After this week, I will call to my friend- Shuangjing. We haven’t met each other for a long time. I think she is now in Fuzhou. We two had ever played Ping Pong quite often in Junior High School. There were also three other girls like Ping Pong. Every afternoon, we all girls ran to engross the Ping Pong table. The Ping Pong table at that time was made from cement; whereas, we didn’t mind. We had a lot of fun there, even we were all novices. But you know, My Senior High School friend Kelly who is also my roommate now is good at playing Ping Pong. She had ever gone to Sweden to have a practicing and competition among teenagers. She was great! : )

Nevertheless, I still prefer basketball. Shuangjing and I had ever joined with boys in our class to have a practicing. I wasn’t love basketball so much at that time; I just learnt a few base motion from my brother; whereas, Shuanjing and I usually played basketball until dark. Another thing need to mention is: it is quite exciting to watch a basketball match under the rain.

G-reat! I found a list of basketball glossary this afternoon, and I’ve already leant some English words such as Court, forwards, center, power forward, small forward, point guard, shooting guard, overtime, dribbling, crossover, jump shot, the dunk shot, hook shot, rebound and field goals (FGs). There are quite lot basketball nomenclatures. It’ll never be boring to learn such English if you like basketball!

And hey, you know what had I found in my Junior High School Online Album today? My friend- Chen- he and his friends had won the official basketball competition of the south area of China! I saw the picture. They were all great! I was pleasure that Chen had become a basketball player after we all had graduated from Junior High School! Wish him to be more excellent!!

Planting Vegetable

Hi world! It is a mild day today! Well, my friend and I abruptly decide to plant vegetables! See, we’ve gotten different kinds of vegetables: Pak-Choi, Pea and Onion; another one is not vegetable but Rainbow Mixed Coleus. It looks nice! Okey, Kelly and I will do the planting those two days. We have some old flowerpots. They’ll be worked. Well, in fact Kelly and I would like to grow some other vegetables such as: carrot or cucumber, but the flowerpots we have are small actually. We gave up in the end. However, I like pea quite much. It’s extra dry. Pak-Choi is good, too. They’re all nice. It’s quite interesting that I never liked vegetable before, but now I eat a lot of different kinds of greenstuffs. Not just because they’re yum, but also healthy. Well, maybe I’d like to put all the observational record of vegetable growing on the Blog. It won’t be a bad idea, isn’t it? : )
